ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Orlando City Lions are expected to become a Major League Soccer on Tuesday.

MLS will welcome Orlando City Soccer into the big leagues at a ceremony in downtown Orlando.

Orlando City will become the 21st team in MLS.

Festivities at Cheyenne Saloon on Church Street will begin at 5 p.m., with the announcement expected to come at 7 p.m.

On Monday, the team announced it's keeping its partnership with Orlando Health. It will provide medical, physical therapy and training services to the team as it moves to the top level of professional soccer.

A soccer stadium was approved for the Orlando City Soccer team in late October.

Also on Monday, the Osceola County Board of Commissioners approved $1 million for the stadium.

The name Orlando Health will not be on the stadium. That sponsorship deal has yet to be agreed upon.
