JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The On Your Side team got results from several of our recent stories.
FCN first brought you Ron Kaminski's story on April 1. But, Kaminski wasn't laughing on April Fool's Day.
He brought a fur coat he said was worth $4,000 to the My Best Friend's Closet consignment shop.
But, when he went back to check on the status of it, the store was closed.
The owner told FCN said she would contact Kaminski.
UPDATE: The owner has kept her word. Kaminski received a check. He told us it wasn't what he expected, roughly $1,000. But, after FCN got results for him, he finally got a check for his coat.
FCN brought you this story in mid-April. Betty Bonner told us her husband, a Vietnam veteran, died after a lengthy illness. She tried for months to get her husband's one-time survivor benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She said she is eligible for it.
FCN got results for her. She finally received the check she was waiting for.
