JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Two people are being treated at a local hospital after a motorcycle accident Monday on Interstate 95 south in St. Johns County.

The Florida Highway Patrol says a blown rear tire caused the driver, 64-year-old Patrick Potrzuski, to lose control.

Potrzuski and his passenger, 56-year-old Yvonne Potrzuski then fell onto the roadway.

Patrick is in the hospital with serious injuries. Yvonne's injuries are critical.
