UPDATE: FHP investigators have located the vehicle involved in a Middleburg hit-and-run crash Saturday on Hibiscus Avenue.
FHP says it located a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup that they believe struck a pedestrian walking along the roadway. This vehicle had damage to the right front portion near the headlight assembly, according to FHP.
The registered owner of the vehicle has been cooperating with investigators to identify the driver, FHP says.
The pedestrian victim remains in critical condition at UF Health.

MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- Troopers and deputies are investigating a hit-and-run crash in Middleburg that sent a pedestrian to the hospital with critical injuries before noon Saturday.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office was alerted to the crash at Hibiscus Avenue and Mayflower Street about 11:22 a.m. That's where a passerby spotted a shoe lying on the side of the road and found an injured man lying in tall grass next to the ditch nearby, Lt. Russ Burke told First Coast News.
The victim, described as a 43-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with "extremely critical" injuries, Lt. Burke said.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
