JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Fire crews were called to an Arlington apartment complex Friday night after it burst into flames.

It happened at The Reserve at Water's Inlet in the 6100 Arlington Expressway.

JFRD said it got the first call around 7:45 p.m.

At least 8 firetrucks and several emergency vehicles responded to the scene, but no injuries were reported.

No word yet on the cause of the fire.

The Red Cross released a statement after the fire: Red Cross volunteers are currently helping 3 families, a total of 8 people, after an apartment fire. The families are being assisted with temporary lodging and financial assistance to help replace necessities lost in the fire like food and clothing. Other residents may be affected by the fire but cannot be located at this time. Volunteers are working with the apartment management to locate any additional people in need of assistance.
