PALATKA, Fla. -- The hunt for a Palatka murder suspect ended Wednesday morning when Kevin T. Daniels, 34, turned himself in to Brantley County authorities in Georgia.
Palatka Police said Daniels broke into a home on Husson Avenue and shot Raymond Perry in front of eight children who were inside the home.
Daniels also allegedly shot at Alzeta Esau, 30, but missed. Police say that Esau and Daniels have been involved in a relationship and have children together. Esau had an active domestic violence injunction against Daniels.

Lakenya Williams says Perry, was a wonderful man and father to a little boy.
"We loved him. We've known him for a very long time. He was a good man," she said.
Williams, who is Esau's sister, says she has seen this before. "She's been having problems with him [Daniels] for a very long time," Williams said of her sister and the suspect.
Police in Palatka say Daniel's vehicle was located in East Palatka and was towed for evidence processing. A nationwide arrest warrant for Daniels was issued for 1st degree murder, attempted 1st degree murder, aggregated stalking, armed burglary and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Daniels has 19 felony charges and five felony convictions previously.
Daniels fled Palatka after the incident and was tracked to Brunswick Georgia.
Palatka Police Chief Gary Getchell stated, "This is a horrific experience for the children who witnessed this crime. The City will exhaust every resource possible to bring Daniels into custody".
