JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The victims of an unsolved double murder in Jacksonville will be remembered on Wednesday evening.

Friends and family have said they are planning a candlelight vigil at 7:30 p.m. at Jefferson Davis Junior High School to honor the lives of Denise Rickman, 17, and her mother, Judith Henry, 41.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office their bodies were found deceased on the morning of June 29 in a home in the 5600 block of S. Shady Pine St. by a man they lived with.

Exact causes of their deaths have not been released yet. There also have not been any arrests made or suspects named publicly in the case.

Rickman would have been a senior this fall at Mandarin High School.

She was known as a bright student and standout athlete who enjoyed running. That is why the candlelight vigil is expected to be held on the track field at Jefferson Davis.

Court records also show Henry was in the process of getting a divorce.

Anyone with information about the case is urged to call JSO or First Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS. You might be eligible for a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
