ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Two women accused of stabbing a man during a Sunday night dispute are being sought by the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to a dispute between a landlord and tenant at a home in the 100 block of Herbert Street Sunday evening. The parties were advised of the legal steps for an eviction and deputies left. A short time later, deputies were called back and the residents advised that the tenant had left in his vehicle.

Moments later, an officer with St. Augustine Police department located a male in the 200 block of S. Ponce de Leon Blvd. The man had cuts on his face and was stabbed in the back. He was taken by air ambulance to UF Health Jacksonville for treatment.

The victim told detectives that the two females that were walking from the residence were the suspects, according to SJCSO.

The suspects were described as females. One was slender build, 5'6" tall, 140 pounds with brown hair pulled into a pony tail and was wearing a black tank top and the second suspect was described as heavy set, about 200 pounds with blonde hair and wearing a white dress with black designs.
