JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man died in a crash on Interstate 295 Sunday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Khalid Eadeh died at UF Health from injuries sustained in the crash near Beach Boulevard.
Eadeh, 43, was driving southbound on I295 shortly before 8 a.m. when he drifted off the roadway, over-corrected and lost control of his Nissan. The vehicle swerved and struck the median barrier, according to FHP.
Eadeh was not wearing a seat belt and alcohol results are pending, according to FHP.
