JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- When Jazzfast 2014 starts in just a few days, it'll be away from its home near Hemming Plaza and The Landing. It's new place, on Bay Street close to The Shipyards.

Organizers say they're making the move because Jazzfest is growing, and the open space allows for more events, and more people.

Some business owners near Hemming Plaza aren't happy about the change. Nader Zarou runs the Adams Street Deli and Grill. He says the change of location for Jazzfest could mean a $5,000 loss.

"To me, they just could have moved it to Clay County or something," he said. "As far as sales, they'll be nothing."

Restaurant owners closer to the new spot say it's a chance for people to see another part of the city.

"I think it's good that we're moving down toward the entertainment district, put a little bit more traffic this way," said Greg Desanto, Owner of Olio. "It's a great opportunity for us," he said.
