JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. -- She's 20 days into her 72 day journey beginning in Marathon Florida and ending in Portland Maine, but Helene Neville already knows what she's going to eat when her journey is complete.

"Pizza and for dessert chocolate cake," Neville said with a smile, "the whole cake."

Neville, 53, is making her way through her third cross country run, taking her from the Southernmost part of the United States to Maine. In 2010, Neville completed a run across America which took her from Ocean Beach, Calif. to Atlantic Beach, Fla. In 2012 she ran from Canada to Mexico.

Thus far into the journey, Florida makes the list of favorite states. "The greater sense of community is alive and well in Florida," Neville explained. She's been "couch surfing" overnight along the journey, "people opened their homes and offered to move the support vehicle" according to Neville who is scheduled to finish on July 11.

The most challenging part of the run so far was Monday during a 20 mile stretch filled with traffic, but Neville said running through the beaches of Florida are the easiest part of the journey.

"So far I love this state, I think this state is definitely the easiest."

The four time cancer survivor runs to, "try to inspire people to rethink their own impossible," and she runs for charity, the St. Francis de Sales Grammar School in Philadelphia. The school is in the middle of the second highest homicide district in Philadelphia.

Neville will be in Jacksonville Tuesday night at the Hit Center on US 1 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with even more to share about her journey. You can also follow Neville on Facebook and Twitter.
