JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The alarming discovery that someone has stolen your personal information for illegal use can turn your life upside down.

Shred for Good, in partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars and InstaRamp, are providing a free one-day shred service Thursday to the community. You can bring sensitive documents with personal information, such as bank statements, financial records and medical data. The documents will be deposited into locked bins and securely transported to Shred for Good's state-of-the-art facility in Green Cove Springs, for secure destruction.

"The North Florida community has been a big supporter of our mission, and we are proud to provide this free document shredding service to the community," explained Nancy C Keating, CEO of Challenge Enterprises and Shred for Good.

" Prohibited items include: trash, CD, DVD's, hard drives, binder clips, X-ray and film.

Celebrity athletes including Local professional skateboarder Mike Peterson, will show off their "shredability" skateboarding tricks for the event from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Jaxson de Ville will also make a special guest appearance from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
