ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- A woman wanted in Duval County was arrested in St. Augustine Monday.
Shaundrika Roberts, 21, was the passenger in a car stopped during a traffic routine traffic stop. A deputy noticed the driver was not wearing a seat belt and a 4-year-old child was standing in the backseat, according to a police report from the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.
The driver of the car carrying Roberts was cooperative with deputies, however Roberts allegedly gave a fake name, corrected herself on her own birth date three times and claimed she did not have ID on her, the SJSO report detailed.
Deputies attempted to handcuff Roberts, but she allegedly fled and locked herself in the men's room of a nearby Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant. Roberts later surrendered and deputies were able to positively identify her as wanted in Duval County.
First Coast News has confirmed Roberts has an outstanding warrant in Duval County for driving on a suspended license.
Roberts priors in Jacksonville include two charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, three charges grand theft, aggravated battery, petit theft, resisting an officer and driving without a license.
