LAKE CITY, Fla. -- Two men were arrested Wednesday as a result of an undercover investigation by the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.
Tony Holley Jr., 32, and Wayne Freeman, 37, were taken into custody when SWAT deputies allegedly found cash, guns, marijuana and crack cocaine inside their Lake City homes, according to CCSO.
Holley was arrested at a home in the 400 block of NW Bascom Norris Dr. and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, manufacture of cocaine, possession of cocaine, trafficking cocaine, possession of drug equipment and violation of probation. His bond is set at $326,000.
Freeman was arrested at a home in the 800 block of NE Catawba St. and charged with of possession of firearm by felon, possession of cocaine, manufacture of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug equipment and violation of probation. His bond is set at $252,000.
The investigation continues and more arrests are expected.
The Drug Task force is comprised of law enforcement personnel from Columbia County Sheriff's Office, Lake City Police Department, Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
