Jacksonville Sheriff's Office investigating Grand Park shooting, one victim with non-life-threatening injuries.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunfire in the Grand Park area Tuesday night.

Police responded to the 5000 block of Cleveland Road after receiving reports of multiple shots fired in the area at 8:30 p.m., according to JSO Sgt. J. M. Paris. When officers arrived on scene they found evidence a shooting had occurred.

Shortly after officers began investigating, an unidentified victim walked into UF Health Jacksonville with a gunshot wound. The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Sgt. Paris detailed.

Initial reports say people heard somewhere between five and 10 gunshots. An investigation is ongoing.
