ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA -- A video on YouTube is calling into question the actions of officers making an arrest last week.

The video which, lasts several minutes, shows 70-year-old Kathleen Mary Allegrone being arrested by Glynn County officers and then tossed to the ground.

"I was stunned really. I think everyone was," said Brett, who did not want to be identified. Brett said he witnessed the arrest from across the street with a friend, who recorded everything on his cell phone camera.

The video shows Allegrone being removed from her vehicle and escorted across the street to a police cruiser. Moments later, Allegrone is seen tossed to the ground.

Witnesses described Allegrone as elderly and petite. They say she was involved in a traffic mishap in the business district of St. Simons Island.

The Glynn County Police Department did not respond to phone calls and emails for a response on why Allegrone
was arrested or the actions of the officers involved.

Tom Packard, who owns a cafe in downtown St. Simons, had not heard about the video, but did find it disturbing after viewing it.

Update: On December 13, the Glynn County Sheriff's Office released Allegrone's mugshot and charges.

Allegrone was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other intoxicating substance and willful obstruction of law enforcement officers by use of threats or violence-felony.

Allegrone posted bond on December 6.
