JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A search for a trespass suspect is underway in the Dutton Island Preserve.

Multiple First Coast News Facebook fans posted about helicopters with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office flying over their neighborhood.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, a search is underway for a simple trespass suspect.

According to JSO the suspect is not considered dangerous at this time.

A witness in the affected neighborhood tells First Coast News, officers at the scene told her to stay inside her home. They told her they are searching for a male suspect in light colored jeans and a white tee-shirt.
