JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has located two children who were reported to be missing.

Kerry Sampel, 12, and Weslee Sampel, 9, have been found safe. They left a note that stated they were tired of their mother's rules and that they were leaving, according to a release from JSO Public Information Officer Melissa Bujeda.

The Sheriff's Office asked for the public's help in locating the two due to some medical issues and the younger child's age.
