BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. -- It is Wednesday so that means it is time for our Teacher of the Week!
This week we are recognizing Mrs. Beth Oody at Bradford High School.
The principal nominated her and said Mrs. Oody's "can do" attitude has spread to others in the school. Mrs. Oody has been a teacher for 18 years in elementary, middle and now high school.
"I really feel like high school students are probably just as needy as first graders. They are just small kids in bigger bodies and they still need love and encouragement and someone to motivate and be behind them," says Mrs. Oody.
The principal said Mrs. Oody also has raised money to help feed breakfast to every student before the FCAT and raised money for the Positive Behavior Support program. In addition to that, she also tutors students in need of extra assistance.
For going above and beyond, Mrs. Beth Oody at Bradford High School is our Teacher of the Week!
