PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- Putnam County schools is facing a few problems, according to a report released by the Florida Auditor General's office.

The 16 reported issues include school bus drivers with suspended driver's licenses, lousy bookkeeping and improper use of federal funds.

The 96-page report says over half a million dollars in federal funds was doled out improperly. Other issues reportedly include poor background checks on employees -- including bus drivers -- and not documenting financial records properly.
