JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A local man who's already behind bars was indicted on four counts of producing child pornography, the office of U.S. Attorney A. Lee Bentley III announced Thursday.

According to a release from Bentley's office, the indictment alleges that Charles Franklin Hudson Jr., 38, four times "did knowingly employ, use, persuade, induce, entice, and coerce a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing visual materials of that conduct."

Hudson's alleged occasions of coercing a minor took place from May 2011 to June 2012.

If convicted, Hudson faces 15 to 30 years in prison and a potential life term of supervised release. He has been in the custody since January 8 on related charges from the state.
