JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville woman accused of chasing another driver and opening fire on his car was convicted of manslaughter charges Friday evening, the State Attorney's Office said.

A jury found Damanecia Nicole Robertson guilty of three counts of attempted manslaughter and discharging a firearm from a vehicle. Robertson, 33, now faces 60 years in prison.

In April 2011, the victim was driving home when Robertson pointed a handgun at his vehicle and opened fire at him and three other people inside the vehicle, prosecutors said. She continued chasing the victim and shooting at his vehicle as he tried to run away.

Robertson is expected to be sentenced in September.
