JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are searching for a 52-year-old woman in relation to an ongoing fraud investigation.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to an auto burglary on April 21 in the 1200 block of Stimson Street. The victim's checkbook was stolen during the burglary, according to a release from JSO.

Since the burglary, the victim's checkbook has been used at numerous businesses around Jacksonville.

Police have identified Angelia R. Smith as a suspect in the case.

Anyone who has any information in regards to the location of the suspect is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500.
