JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A 38-year-old Jacksonville man plead guilty Wednesday to two counts of using a minor to produce videos depicting child pornography.

Charles Franklin Hudson was arrested in Jacksonville January 8 after the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a home two days earlier in response to allegations of sexual battery on a minor child. The minor was interviewed by investigators and said she was sexually abused by Hudson.

A search warrant was issued for Hudson's house and police found a backpack in attic of the home. In the backpack, investigators discovered cameras, SD cards, CDs, DVDs and pill bottles with Hudson's name on them. Inside one of the pill bottles police found five SD cards containing 90 video and image files that depicted sexually explicit conduct involving Hudson. At least two of the videos depicted Hudson and a minor child engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Hudson is facing the mandatory penalty of 15 years, up to 30 years in federal prison and a potential life term for each count.
