JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police responded to a Southside bank after a man demanded money from a teller Wednesday morning.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the Wells Fargo in the 11400 block of Beach Boulevard after an unknown male suspect demanded money from a teller, according to a release from JSO. The teller did not comply, the release detailed, and the suspect ran into the woods behind the bank.

Police said the suspect did not display a weapon or make threats.
