Update: Stephen Myers was released from the hospital and booked into jail Friday. Lyon is listed in serious but stable condition in a Louisiana hospital.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. -- The 16-year-old missing teen has been found according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. A little before 1 a.m. this morning, the Iberville Sheriff's Office in Louisiana notified the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office to let them know that Ashley Lyon and 41-year-old Steven Patrick Myers were located and are now in custody.
Preliminary information provided by the sheriff's office states that patrons at a local truck stop in Grosse Tete, Louisiana notified authorities when they recognized Steven Myers and Ashley Lyon walk into the truck stop.
When deputies arrived they spotted the two in a Chevy 3500 flatbed pickup truck and attempted a traffic stop.

Myers refused to pull over and then forced police to chase him for approximately 40 miles.
During the pursuit, Myers reportedly struck four other vehicles in some type of attempt to create road blockage behind him. Deputies managed to deploy multiple stop sticks and were successful in deflating the trucks tires.
Myers continued driving the truck down to the rims until the truck was finally disabled and could no longer travel any further.
Once the truck stopped, Myers exited the truck with a knife in hand yelling at the deputies to shoot him. Steven Myers was then apprehended and taken to a local hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana where he was treated for what's believed to be two self inflicted stab wounds and K9 dog bites.
Ashley Lyon was found in the disabled truck with multiple stab wounds and was taken to a local hospital in Lafayette where she is listed in critical condition.
