HAWTHORNE, Fla. -- A man wanted in Indiana was taken into custody in Putnam County Friday.
Alex Everett Hallett-Miles, 26, is wanted for murder in Terre Haute, Indiana, according to a release from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to a tip that Hallett-Miles was hiding in a home in the 100 block of Galilee Drive in Hawthorne. When deputies arrived around 2 p.m., Hallett-Miles allegedly provided law enforcement with a fake name, but eventually disclosed his identity, according to the release.
Hallett-Miles was arrested and booked into the Putnam County Jail where he is currently awaiting extradition to Indiana.
