An unknown suspect entered gated, locked property and cut the lock on a trailer at JEA. Jacksonville Sheriff's Office

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police area searching for a burglary suspect who broke into JEA May 21.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to JEA at 10:20 p.m. after an unknown suspect entered the gated, locked property and cut a lock on a trailer. The interior of the trailer was to ransacked but nothing appeared be missing, according to JSO.

The suspect also shattered the glass door on the side of the JEA building and ransacked a cabinet inside the office.

The complainant said a roll-around battery charger which was next to the side door was missing. A box containing a DVD writer was recovered near the front gate.
