LACROSSE, Fla. -- A 30-year-old man is behind bars following a two county stake out.
Investigators had been staking out two separate locations in Alachua and Columbia counties, looking for 30-year-old auto theft suspect Jecomiah Walker, when law enforcement received a tip on his whereabouts, according to the Union County Sheriff's Office.
Walker was spotted in the LaCrosse area by a Worthington Springs resident who reported him to law enforcement. Walker was arrested without incident.
Walker was later identified by Union County deputies as the suspect who had stolen a vehicle from Williams Gas in Worthington March 29.
Walker is currently being held in the Alachua County Jail on a $20,000.00 bond.
Additional charges by bordering jurisdictions are being pursued.
