JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A suspect who robbed two local gas stations with a weapon is wanted by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

According to JSO, the first robbery happened May 11, at Kangaroo convenience store located at 11985 Beach Boulevard. The second robbery occurred June 1, at Murphy Express located at 11930 Beach Blvd.

Authorities believe the two cases involve the same suspect.

In both cases the suspect displayed a firearm, wore a mask, demanded money and Newport cigarettes.
