Tampa, Florida -- New information in the Avila arson investigation is beginning to paint a chilling picture.

On Sunday, surveillance video from Phantom Fireworks on Fowler Avenue shows Darrin Campbell buying $600 worth of fireworks which investigators confirmed were scattered throughout the Avila home.

Campbell then made another curious purchase, according to police.

"We can confirm that he bought several gasoline cans on the same night," said Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Col. Donna Lusczynski.

Early Wednesday morning, the Avila home went up in flames which investigators say was intentionally set with an accelerant. When forensic crews eventually made it inside, they found more strange circumstances saying all four victims were shot.

Investigators still will not confirm the victims are the Campbell family, but are looking into Campbell's possible financial problems to see if a motive may lay there. If financial hardships were an issue, it raises the question of expenses.

Campbell rented the high dollar Avila home, his children attended private school, and reports reveal Campbell left several high salary jobs in the past.
