DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Police say a 24-year-old man arrested on child pornography charges compared the illicit activity to "looking at dead bodies."

The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports William Wiese told authorities he likes to view child porn to "see something that you are not normally allowed to see."

He was arrested Wednesday on two counts of directing/promoting the sexual performance of a child.

Authorities say Wiese had been under investigation. Police obtained a search warrant on Wednesday and found the child porn on his computer.

Wiese remained in the Volusia County Jail on $50,000 bail on Friday morning. It wasn't clear whether he has an attorney.
