JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Shots were fired in a Panama Park neighborhood late Wednesday night leaving an unidentified victim with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said they were called to the 100 block of East 43rd Street just before 11 p.m. where they found the victim with non-life-threatening injuries.

When police arrived the victim was being driven to the hospital.

It is still unknown how many shots were fired during this incident.

Investigators were called to the scene to gather additional information, however, no details has been released at this time.
