ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies have arrested a man they say spent several weeks trying to lure children.
Deputies said they know of at least one victim, but that child was unable to identify 28-year-old Jeremy Hagan.
He is in the Orange County Jail facing several charges for lewd and lascivious exhibition in the presence of a child as well as for luring or enticing a child.
According to detectives, Hagan preyed on children in Azalea Park and Waterford Lakes neighborhoods. He is accused of driving around and luring the children from a distance, traveling a specific route, at the same time and days through three different subdivisions in these areas.
Investigators said they have been following Hagan around for the past three weeks, watching as he photographed young women from the car and tried luring them.
Deputies said they have obtained search warrants on his cellphone, vehicle and residence, and they've said they anticipate charging Hagan, who is currently on probation for similar offenses, with more sex crime-related charges.
Anyone who thinks they or their child has been victimized by Hagan is asked to call the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
