Police: No indication of shots fired at a Florida school, possible hoax
LAKE MARY, Fla. —The Seminole County Sheriff's Office said there is no indication that shots were fired at Lake Mary High School.
Deputies were called to the campus after receiving a report of a possible shooting on campus.
The school was evacuated as a precaution, but there is not indication that there was a shooter.
No students were injured.
Lake Mary High School and Greenwood Lake Middle School were placed on a code red lockdown.
Investigators said they have cleared 90 percent of the school.
Authorities said they are investigating the origin of the call, as they believe the call could be a hoax.
No other information was immediately known.
