An Atlanta family had to make an emergency landing on a Florida highway on Friday.

Terrell Barden was flying his wife and two children from Atlanta to the Bahamas when their plane suddenly lost power.

Barden said he couldn't restart it and was too far from an airport, so he set the plane down on State Road 60 west of Vero Beach and pulled into a turn lane to avoid traffic.

Everyone was okay. There was no word if they were able to complete their trip to the Bahamas.
