TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Florida's Seminole casinos perform above many of their peers around the nation in terms of revenue. This is what keeps casino giants Las Vegas Sands and the Genting Group coming back to the state's capitol every year since 2010, hoping to get into the game.

While Gov. Rick Scott holds talks with the Seminole tribe to revisit the state's revenue-sharing agreement, legislators are considering a series of bills. Some would allow Las Vegas-style casinos in South Florida.

Some wonder if this year's push for casinos is a last stand for outsiders to see laws approved that would allow them into the state.
