MARION COUNTY, Fla. — A woman and three children are missing after what was supposed to be a Tuesday afternoon ride.

Officials said Tabitha Elliott went to a friend's home on NE 91st Street and picked up her friend's 2-year-old son Owen Weaver.

Along with her children, 3-year-old Mason Wicks and 11-month-old Lexie Elliott, Tabitha Elliott was to take the children for a ride in the area.

Elliott and the children have not been seen since 4 p.m. on Tuesday. She was said to be driving a black older model Chevy or Z-71 GMC pickup truck with a lift kit and all-terrain tires. The truck did not have a license tag.

Family members said she could have driven to the area of Forest Road 33 or Hopkins Prairie.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
