ORANGE CITY, Fla. - A 9-year-old girl was found alone inside a home with a methamphetamine lab Friday afternoon, according to Volusia County Sheriff's Office deputies.
"If she would have breathed the fumes from the active meth lab it could have hurt her pretty badly," said Fire Chief Bill Snyder. "Could have been, it wasn't, but could have been a significant problem for her."
The child was taken to a hospital, but is fine, deputies said. Two people are being questioned by law enforcement and will likely be arrested Friday night.

The couple, a woman and her boyfriend, live at the home on Wisconsin Avenue.
The 911 call about the possible meth lab came in after smoke was seen coming from the home's garage.
"I saw a lot of black smoke coming from there," said Ray Brasells. "Mainly from the back of the house and then the smoke kind of died down and so I left and went shopping."
A hazmat team was at the house for hours dismantling what the fire chief called "a medium-sized meth lab."
