NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. - A 42-year-old man faces life in prison for six counts of vehicular homicide.

Pedro Juan Ocasio-Alcazar was convicted Tuesday afternoon on all six counts from a 2010 incident.

The State Attorney's office states Ocasio-Alcazar was speeding and driving recklessly on U.S. 1 when his Chevrolet Camaro sideswiped the victim's vehicle. The crash caused the victim to hit an oncoming truck.

The six passengers, aged from 4 to 57 years old, died in the crash. According to a State Attorney press release, all the victims were related. Ocasio-Alcazar suffered only minor injuries in the crash.

Ocasio-Alcazar is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 13 and faces life in prison.
