ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- Adam Robert Bridges,18, was arrested and charged with nine counts of burglary, two counts of grand theft, five counts of petit theft, four counts of criminal mischief, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count each of possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis and possession of alcohol under 21.
According to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, the investigation began January 9 when a resident in the 200 block of Honeysuckle Way reported a burglary to his residence and two vehicles.
Police say at the same time another resident in the 200 block of Honeysuckle Way reported a separate auto burglary.
Deputies were able to locate Bridges passed out in a 2005 Hyundai Accent. When questioned by police, he admitted to several burglaries in the area.
A search warrant was obtained for Bridges' car and detectives found drug paraphernalia, multiple items of alcohol and a small amount of cannabis.
Police were also able to recover the stolen property.
Bridges is now in the St. Johns County Jail with bonds totaling $105,000.
