JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It is Wednesday so that means it is time for our Teacher of the Week!

This week we are showcasing Mrs. Chris Force at Englewood High School in Jacksonville.

She teaches Custom Promotional Design and has been a teacher for 24 years.

This is her first year at Englewood High School, prior to that she taught at Wolfson High School.

Mrs. Force says she loves seeing her students' everyday and one of the reasons she has had a lot of success as a teacher is because she truly cares for her students.

"So if they are struggling with a situation with a friend ormaybe something that happens at work or with their part time job, that I am a safe person that can give them advice in a non judgmental way," says Mrs. Force.

Mrs. Force says it is those personal relationships and bonds that make all the difference to students. A big congratulations to Mrs. Force at Englewood High School for being our Teacher of the Week!

Here is what her nominator had to say-- "Mrs. Force is a lovely teacher. I have known her for several years now. Not only was she my teacher, but also my sisters teacher. This lady is amazing. Goes above and beyond her job description. She is really active in the community and loves her students. I had Mrs. Force while attending Wolfson High School and she was the backbone of that school. She was the yearbook teacher, activities director and so much more. She loved her students and wanted to be involved with their lives. She cared about each and everyone of us. I learned so much through this amazing lady. I have to say she was by far my favorite teacher. She deserves to be teacher of the week!"
