JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Homeless shelters across the River City took in more than 370 people between Monday night and Tuesday morning due to below-freezing temperatures in the area.

Normal check-in times do not apply during the cold weather at the City Rescue Mission downtown. The shelter is not turning anyone away during this week's cold snap.

Here are the tallies from the shelters on how many people were taken in:

Salvation Army - 32 men and 5 women

Sulzbacher Center
- 35 people

Jacksonville Day Resource Center - 80 people on Tuesday morning

Trinity Rescue Mission
- 150 people Monday night and 70 on Tuesday morning
