UPDATE, 1/7/13: According to JSO Inmate Information, Brody was released from the Duval County Jail just after 9 p.m. Monday.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Clay County Schools teacher was arrested Monday by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office on alleged sexual contact with a teen.

Kimberly Hilliard Brody, 40, is charged with Unlawful Sexual Activity (Suspect 24 or Older Victim 16 or 17), according to the JSO Inmate Information Search.

According to a JSO Arrest Report, police were called to the 7300 block of Westland Oaks Drive just before 12:30 a.m. to reports of a suspicious pick-up truck with two unknown occupants.

When officers arrived, they found an individual naked outside of the truck, which was parked in a cul-de-sac.

Brody was found sitting in the passenger's side of the truck with a sweater covering the top of her body and naked from the waist down, according to the report.

Officers learned the individual and Brody were having sex before the police arrived, the report said .

Clay schools spokesperson Gavin Rollins confirmed that Brody is a second grade teacher at W.E. Cherry Elementary School in Orange Park. She is a second-year teacher with the district.

Rollins said the district just learned of the arrest Monday morning and Brody is being placed on paid administrative leave.

Brody taught at Greenland Pines Elementary School in Duval County previously until the 2012-2013 school year when she went to work at W.E. Cherry.

She appeared in court Monday afternoon and her bond was set at $50,000.
