JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A toddler was burned in a house fire in Arlington Sunday.

Jacksonville Fire Rescue battled a fire at a home in the 2400 block of Claro Drive around 3:40 this afternoon.

When firefighters arrived, there were flames and smoke coming from the house.

JFRD Fire Chief Mike Strickland said the resident's 2-year-old daughter was burned and has non-life threatening injuries.

The resident's boyfriend was also home, but he was not hurt.

It's not yet clear what started the fire, Strickland said.
