JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Two people were fatally shot and one was injured after an argument over sleeping arrangements inside an apartment on the Westside Saturday morning.

Sunday police arrestedKeith Collins Jr. and charged him with murder.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, officers responded to a call of shots fired inside the Canterbury Apartments in the 1500 block of S. Lane Ave. shortly after 3 a.m Saturday morning.

Inside the apartment officers located two females and one male with gunshot wounds. The male and one of the females were pronounced dead on the scene. The injured female was transported to UF Health Jacksonville with life threatening injuries.

After the fight over the sleeping arrangements, Collins Jr. shot Emanual Robinson and an unnamed woman multiple times, according to an incident report. The injured woman pretended to be dead and Collins left the room to get another gun. Collins then shot Latrica B. Johnson as she attempted to escape through the screen onto the neighbors patio, according to police.

Collins Jr. was arrested Sunday.
