PALATKA, Fla. --Christmas came early for a family of six in Palatka today.

Making ends meet has been a struggle for The Edwards Family since father Lance Edwards lost his job months back.

But Sunday afternoon, volunteers greeted them with toys, food and clothing for the holidays.

It's all thanks to a club called Jacksonville Automotive Muscle.

The gesture left Lance Edwards overcome with emotion.

"I don't know. I can't explain to you how it feels. It's just, I can't say thanks enough. Thanks to everybody for coming out and doing this. It's a great thing," said Edwards.

This is the fourth year JAM has sponsored Christmas for a family in need. Edwards said he hopes he can help the group give a struggling family a happy Christmas next year.
