KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- The Outlaws from Julington Creek played a team from California for all the marbles ... the Super Bowl of Pop Warner.
In team form they delivered a shutout, only giving up eight points in the regular season; in the national finals, only six points in three games while scoring 84.
A story book season for the team. Players are still taking it all in.
For the coach Mike Hughes, a dream team with plenty of confidence and backing it up on the field.
Reporter: "What do you hope kids take from this?"
"You know just the experience of a lifetime they need to understand they can do anything," Hughes said.
The Outlaws did everything, a perfect record 17-0. They played like champions and brought home a national championship.
