JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One man is injured after an overnight shooting in Arlington.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said a man was walking through a parking lot at the corner of Monument Road and McCormick Road at about 2:30 Friday morning.

The victim told JSOtwo men were following him and they got into an argument. That's when one of the two men pulled out a handgun. The victim started running and was shot in the arm. The bullet was lodged in his side.

The victim said he doesn't know the two men who approached him. He also said the two men got into a silver car that had two other men in it.

The victim's friend took him to Memorial Hospital where he was then transfered to UF Health.
