JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A 27-year-old man was sentenced to 43 consecutive years in prison for a 2012 shooting case.

According to a State Attorney's press release, Bernard Moore is sentenced to serve 20 years in prison for each of the two counts of aggravated assault, three years for another aggravated assault charge and 85 days for carrying a concealed firearm and discharging a firearm in public.

In February 2012, Moore was involved in an ongoing dispute with his girlfriend where he shot 15 times towards her. The victim was not harmed.
